A heavy sword to wield. Here we have a ceremonial Indian khanda sword with a massive 'faux wootz' etched blade. The blade is heavy, broad and still sharp with multiple fullers ending in leaf shaped motives, a single cutting edge and a back edge. The tip of the blade is 9cm wide! The basket hilt is probably 18th century with a recent leather grip wrap and remains of original silver koftgari. Good condition.
