A good and rare two handed sword from the Garo tribes of Assam or Nagaland. Also referred to as a headhunters sword. A steel 70cm long sword with double edge blade, a simple iron cross guard that used to be adorned with tufts of hair. A 30cm long cutting edge and a central ridge running throughout the blade. Heavy but well balanced and in good condition with a nice age patina. More pictures to follow.
