€ 1100 A fine and long North Indian matchlock musket. One of the longer examples with its 194cm. Marked on the barrel 'JPR/ EXR/ 24563' (Jaipur) together with an inscription in Hindi 'Shri Natha'. The barrel has some staines and light surface pitting but the overall build quality and finish is very good. A fine red hardwood stock with cord wired capucines. Fine steel lateral panels boarded with small circular dots. Trigger, cover pan and serpentine look very sharp. A fluted muzzle and a twisted chevron ramrod. A simple but very beautiful matchlock.
