Presented here is a well made 19th century Indian 'toradar' matchlock musket. North India, probably Jaipur region. Another matchlock in our inventory with Jaipur markings has the same details. Iron mounts with rudimentary stamped borders. The sectioned hardwood stock attached to the barrel with iron capucines replacing the original ratan, sinew or wire capucines. Complete with its pan cover, ramrod and picker holder with silver chain. Very good condition.
