Here we have a Moroccan dagger called a Koumaya. Ours is a fine example, circa 1900 probably South Morocco. Fine quality, 23 cm double edge blade, brass handle and scabbard with finely chiseled and engraved silver front, enameled and nielloed mouthpiece. Distinctive decorative ears for suspension rings. Total length measures 41 cm. Very good condition.
