From the Zand / Safavid Period. One side plate of a char-aina (four mirrors) composed of five sheets of steel with thin applied borders and strap hooks. The centers' surface is decorated with finely scrolling tendrils bordered with rectangular cartouches containing remains of nastaliq inscriptions. Four leaf shaped cartouches in the corners. Wear to the gold and inscriptions with eighty percent unaffected. Uk provenance. 240 grams.
