One leaf from a dispersed Islamic Prayer Book. North India, late 18th Century. Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper. Seven lines of text written in naskh script in black ink with significant words picked out in red with small interlinear Persian translation in red ink. Additional commentary written in the outer margins of each page in nasta'liq script in black ink. Illuminated gold floral/vegetal decorations. Good condition. Unframed.
