From a private collection. A 19th century iron arm defence guard of the Qajar period. The surface is decorated with high relief acid-etched sword wielding cavalry warriors and a talismanic cartouche near the wrist. The gold accents contrast nicely with the dark surface. Complete with its inner lining. Good condition.
